Bucket Flowers
DIY Flower Basics
Flower buckets are available Mid-May through Mid-October. As a small farm, we encourage you to order in advance, as we may sell out during peak wedding season (August-October).
All flowers are subject to sales tax, with an additional $5 per bucket deposit, refunded to you when your buckets are returned. (You also have the option to bring your own clean buckets, to transfer your flowers to.)
ESTIMATE STEM NEEDS
Each bucket contains 70+ seasonal stems, including local flowers, accent/filler flowers and foliage, providing you with all you need to create stunning bouquets.
One bucket fills around 5-7 wide-mouth quart mason jars. Wedding bouquets can be anywhere from 30-60 stems, while attendant bouquets can be anywhere from 20-40. Also plan for a few extras to have just in case!
FLOWER COLOR OPTIONS:
Light: White, blush, buff, pale yellow, light lavender

Custom: We will happily consider your color palette, however, we cannot guarantee that we can match it exactly. Include your palette in the comment section when placing your order.
BUCKET PICK-UP & FLOWER LIFE
Pick-Up is by appointment only at the farm. Flowers will be fresh, hydrated, and ready to work with. Flowers should look great for up to three days, or up to a week with proper care. We recommend picking up your flowers as close to the time you want to arrange them as possible. (Typically for a Saturday event, pick-up is on Thursday or Friday morning).
Storing your flower buckets/arrangements in a cool and shaded place will extend their life. In the heat and direct sun, the flowers will open and wilt faster. A cool garage is an ideal spot to store your flowers. Boutonnieres/corsages should be stored in a refrigerator.
DIY FLOWER BUCKET CONSIDERATIONS
A few key questions to ask yourself before going the DIY flower bucket route:
Do you have enough time, help and space?
Are you able to pick-up your stems 1-2 days prior to your event?
You’ll need at least one friend or family member’s help, but realistically a few helpers would be best, and what a fun way to involve your loved ones in your event. Set aside a few hours for floral work and make sure to leave time for clean up!
Materials: Depending on what you are envisioning, you will need scissors or snips, floral tape, wire, pins, and vases. Most materials can be easily obtained from craft and garden stores.
